& Bit Bank Australia Certified Coach
A Proud History.....
Woodcrest Equestrian was established in 2009 by Tarni McCormack (Woodhead) EA Level 1 General Coach / SSTA / QOTT Approved Coach with over 25 years of competition and training experience. Having developed horses and riders across the disciplines of Eventing, Jumping, Dressage and Working Equitation. Tarni is currently working towards completing her EA Level 2 General Coach accreditation and becoming an accredited Working Equitation coach.
Tarni has trained with many successful riders and trainers. Her greatest influences being Australian Eventing Coach Tony Manca, Olympic Event Rider Kevin McNab and Germany's Olympic Dressage Gold Medalist Heike Kemmer. A highlight in 2009 was working with Heike Kemmer in Germany and having the opportunity to train on many of her horses including Royal Rubin, a Grand Prix stallion.

Team Woodcrest is a support group made up of dedicated students and has a private social media group that is a fantastic additional learrning platform with team support.
With an honest approach Tarni has a unique coaching method that allows her students to truly understand the foundations and learn to become trainers themselves. This is how they progress so quickly and achieve success. It was due to her students success that Tarni was a finalist for Equestrian Queensland Coach of the Year in 2015, 2018 and 2019.

Woodcrest also has a proud history of selling many horses and initiating perfect horse and rider partnerships throughout the past 25 years. We believe wholeheartedly in the principles of honesty, integrity and trust, coupled together with many years of professional experience in training, assessing and matching particular horses attributes with that of the rider. Absolute honesty is provided with any horse’s history, temperament, experience, achievements and future prospects, allowing the purchaser to make an informed confident decision. You can be confident in knowing that at Woodcrest we understand the importance of integrity, where our reputation and ethical standards are more important than a quick sale and an unhappy buyer.

"I am putting pen to paper, in thanks to Tarni Woodhead who has cared for our horse through the process of preparing her for sale. Tarni has had our horse on her property since January 2012, for training and agistment. When I made the decision to put our horse on the market, it was up to Tarni to take care of preparing her for sale. The condition of our horse was superb, she shone and was in great spirits, had been ridden regularly and behaved beautifully.

This is to recognise all the work Tarni put in, she treated our horse as if it were her own. We feel that we could not have had a better carer. Dealings throughout the time our horse was with Tarni, were always professional and she was treated as a No.1 priority. I have no hesitation in recommending Tarni Woodhead and Woodcrest Equestrian to anyone who wants to sell their horse whilst having the best in care and training."
